We got official information coming from Insomniac Games concerning their upcoming shooter called “Fuse”. It will not involve any form of pass or micro-transactions! Developers will make gamers to purchase a new copy of “Fuse” in order to fully enjoy it. As developers claim: “You should still buy it new to support us because there are no micro-transactions to make up for it, though,” the developer wrote.

It’s worth recalling that obviously micro-transactions became very common when it comes to high budget products. Recent games, like: Gears of War: Judgment, Tomb Raider, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Dead Space 3 all involve micro-transactions… Insomniac stated that “Fuse” public demo will be available both on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 28.

“Fuse” story involves titular fuse, (an alien substance) which in combination with earthly materials can evolve into devastating weapons! Obviously there are people who want to steal it – in this case the role will be played by a rogue paramilitary organization. A task force, which will include the player, will be tasked to retreat the fuse…

As for the game itself, the story behind “Fuse” seems interesting and we should get a competitive shooter in no time! In terms of transactions it’s generous of game’s developers to disallow any forms of in-game pass or micro-transactions! Instead of this, this honest way of treating gamers, can gain a huge advantage for Insomniac. More details as soon as demo comes out. Until next time!
