Review

Welcome to the fresh demo of Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel, which showed a surprisingly good TPS! Army of Two has everything, you would expect from third person shooters: non-stop action, falling cover elements, helicopters and even mounted mini-guns! The greatest thing about the game is certainly a co-operative mode (played with a friend) which will bring you the most fun. Game design is up to its title and is very mature: we won’t meet any purple rabbits, but instead dirty, dark and rotten environments, that you will venture through and use as a cover..

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel is oriented on implementing a game-play, that’s as realistic as possible! If you get wounded there will be likely a visible blood effect. Demo gives us access to a single level, that can be completed both online with a friend or offline (the other character is controlled by an AI bot)… speaking of which is so well done, that sometimes gives you a feeling that the the other character is “alive”! Level included in demo version involves enough variation to give satisfaction to every gamer! There will be sneaking past enemy guards, crazy raids with countless enemies and a head-taking ending with a helicopter in action!

Level included in Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel demo is interesting in terms of game-play and can be completed many times in a row, which is to show you that the game won’t get boring soon! We won’t go crazy in terms of weapons, because they are quite limited, but assault rifle and shotgun get their job done! There is one game-play element that should be pointed out! The Devil’s Cartel has many preset spots where a “team action” will take place.. For example, in the very beginning there is a very high situated window. First player makes a seat for the other with his hands, while other makes a jump into the window. Game involves many similar co-op actions and they’re all fun to perform!

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel was made with cooperative mode in mind.. so if you love co-op games, this should fill your needs quite nicely. The Devil’s Cartel is like an explosive barrel, it will give you constant tactical shooting and action which was done in the latest installment very well. This game is a nice addition, to your collection, if you’re tired of the same titles which we know too well. Give it a try, this can be a blast with a friend!
