We have certainly pleasant news for Joe Danger fans! The guy will soon hit Steam and what’s even more exciting, we will get a glimpse at the final product in 2013! What’s really amazing is the fact that both Joe’s games will get released on Steam, with a full support in the form of Big Picture and Steam Workshop! This should lead to a handful of new user-developed content!

Joe Danger’s history dates back to 2010, when the franchise started as a PlayStation 3 exclusive… On the wave of popularity, 2012 brought a sequel called Joe Danger: The Movie, which is for now available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360! “Actually, PC is Joe Danger’s spiritual home,” said Hello Games boss Sean Murray. “I coded my first ever PC engine when we started making the original Joe Danger back in 2009, because we couldn’t get hold of console devkits. So it’s incredibly exciting to be finally able to release it.”

Developers add: “We have a rule that whenever we put our games onto a new platform we have to add something. We can’t just do a quick and dirty port,” added Murray. Joe will certainly greatly suit the Steam character, as it is provided for less complicated arcade titles! Steam’s Workshop will certainly add lots of customization to the franchise… It’s definitely worth to wait a while, until we get our hands on the newest Joe Danger recreation…
